(You know, and I know that you know, that had to start with that.)
If you're reading this, you've successfully navigated the maze of hyperlinks, cryptic URLs, and cat videos that is the internet and found yourself on my shiny, new personal website. Congratulations! (I'm assuming you're here because you wanted to be, not because you took a wrong turn.)
What is this, a blog? A website? A newsletter?
You may be wondering, "What's this website all about?" Well, I'm glad you asked. Because franky, it's none of those things and yet all of those things at the same time.
Here, you'll find articles like this one where you'll read 3-4 paragraphs before you realize the entire thing is just reiteration of the same things over and over again. Some articles may read rather "bloggy" and others may read like advanced calculus. I'll try to keep things tidy though and keep those only interested in certain topics in mind.
Topics may include:
- software development
- software architecture
- plain software

Other topics may include (but are not limited to):
- "random stuff"
- the deep end of the pool of thoughts, experiences, and knowledge that is my brain
Why Did I Create This Website?
The stars aligned such that I needed to create a static markdown engine for a project as well as having this site in my backlog. Anytime two birds are able to be stoned to death, you have to take advantage of that opportunity.
What about a that engine?
Oh, there is plenty of time for that. I'll be writing an article about it soon. (I promise!)
I'll be regularly updating this site with new content. Expect a mix of technical deep-dives, light-hearted musings, and maybe the occasional rant about why I believe
spaces > tabs. (Just kidding... or am I?)
In the meantime, feel free to explore the site. It is a work in progress. As I add features to the engine they will become available here first! Soon you can leave comments, and, if you're feeling particularly adventurous, you'll be able to sign up in newsletter form. You won't regret it. (Well, unless you hate insightful articles and subtle humor, in which case, you might?)
That's it for now.
